Celebrate Valentine's Day Weekend with two different Comedy Shows, featuring great comedians:

On Friday, February 10th, kick off Valentine's Day Weekend with the 2nd Annual Hearts & Jokers Show, featuring Comedians David Michael and Shaun Blackham with Comedy Magician Lee Terbosic. There will also be a special performance by former Ray Charles drummer and Pittsburgh's own jazz legend Roger Humphries and his Big Band, along with another renowned Pittsburgh jazz artist on guitar, Eric Johnson. The Jazz Music will begin at 7:00pm; the Comedy Show will begin at 9:00pm; more Jazz will follow at 10:00pm.

"Miles Ahead For Marcus" Fundraiser & UFC Fight at Mullen's In Pittsburgh

Head out to Mullen's Bar and Grill in Pittsburgh this Saturday, February 4th to watch the UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit Fight and help raise funds for Marcus Corson. The "Miles Ahead for Marcus" Fundraiser is being sponsored by Bubba from 100.7FM and will begin at 7:00pm.

Here's the story on Marcus Corson:

"For those of you that don't know, on December 3, 2011, Marcus Corson, his wife Lori and daughter Bry, were at his brother Jason's daughters', (Caileigh and Gabby), birthday party. He was on a tumble track, and when he reached the end and made that final jump. He landed on the hard bar at the end of the track and both patellar tendons were ruptured. He was brought to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and on the 5th had to have extensive surgery. Anchors were drilled into each leg to attach the patellar tendons and bring the kneecaps (that had ridden up on his thighs) back in place. There was other considerable damage to cartilage and the sleeve.

This is a life-changing accident for Marcus and those of you who know him well, know just how life changing this will be. He will have to spend a minimum of 4 weeks in a nursing home and will have months of rehab. His walking may never be the same...he may have a permanent limp and there is a 25% chance of a re-tear.

The Past…Marcus is no stranger to adversity and he is a tough guy to hold down! As a child, he had open heart surgery at the age of 3 and was told that he would never be able to play football, basketball, wrestle or participate in anything strenuous.....but Marcus is a fighter and no one tells Marcus he can't do something! As a result of his swimming prowess and determination, he was swimming 5 miles a night, 5 nights a week with Jason, and by the time he was 12, all of those health restrictions were lifted.

The Future…All of us that believe in Marcus, believe he can pull off another miracle and will not let this get him down, but he has a lot of miles ahead of him, and he will need a little help from his friends and family!"

Pittsburgh Comedians Aaron Kleiber and Mike Wysocki Supporting Falcon Foundation at Geyer Theater

Comedians and talent network artists Aaron Kleiber and Mike Wysocki will be a part of a comedy night on Saturday, February 4th at the Geyer Performing Arts Center, in honor of The Connellsville Falcon Foundation. Since it's establishment in 2006, the Falcon Foundation has spent roughly $80,000 on items such as interactive boards and books for several schools and grade levels, iPads, televisions, cameras, among many others items. The Foundation also provides two scholarships every year - one to the senior high and one to the Connellsville Area Career and Technical Center. 100% of the foundation's proceeds go back to the school district.

Hosted by Vinny Fasline,
tickets are $15 and are available from any Falcon Foundation member, at Rumbaugh Chiropractic, Dr. John Ellis' office or at the door. Doors open at 6:30pm for hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.
